Civil action incidental to criminal proceedings
Victims of criminal actions, e.g. of stalking, have the possibility to join the accusal with the right to take part as an active party of the proceeding e.g. by making applications. Furthermore it is possible to enforce claims to damages or solatium.
The adjudged delinquent has generally to pay the lawyer ´s fees of the joint plaintiff. In case of indigence, the victim may apply for legal aid. If the prosecution may abandon an accusal, the victim may place a private action when indicated.
